Sequence alignment

Goals:

Using most up-to-date methods align homologous sequences

Why:

Alignments of sequences allow to evaluate homology and to study evolutionary relationships and history of given molecular sequences

Example studies:

Examples are numerous. Some of our work included evolutionary analyses of type III effectors in agriculturally important plant pathogens, analyses of selective pressuresin bacteria and eukaryotic species.

Input data:

Homologous sequences of interest. Preferred file format: a fasta file for each homologous group
