Dating evolutionary events

Goals:

Dating evolutionary events such as speciations and emergence of highly pathogenic strains from homologous molecular sequences

Why:

Dating allows to get insights of the molecular history of analysed sequences.

Input data:

1. Homologous set(s) of molecular sequences
2. Fossil dates (if dating speciation events) or dates of viral samples
3. Mapping of dates onto phylogenetic history of molecular sequences

Pipeline:

Bayesian inference via MCMC
